Rob Lopicola clearly recognized his sex addiction, the destruction and pain it brought himself and others, his methamphetamine use,  alcoholism, the loss of his career, his reputation, and his life as he once new it when he received the gift of desperation. 

Unfortunately, it was when he was arrested and faced prison time that he was forced to look at himself in the mirror

Although his sexual behavior was unconventional to say the least, and his sexual lifestyle a bit loose and wild, he in fact never had sex with minors, never exchanged pictures with minors, never dated minors, and never knowingly acted illegally with minors in spite of the news headlines. He does have a history of dating younger men, but no one under legal age.

When he had hit rock bottom and felt terribly hopeless, he wanted to die. The consequences of his behavior felt unbearable, along with the media tormenting him up further with misinformation, lies, and misrepresentation of the facts. 

Public opinion was harsh as a result of the misinformation given by the media. This does not invalidate that his behavior did bring upon him a series of problems of his own making. He very clearly stated to the judge during sentencing that he is aware his choices and behavior warrants a debt to be paid.

Rob Lopicola did, however, take back his life. 

After years of coaching, counseling, deep reflection, and introspection during incarceration, and following his release, he chose to use his story, loss, pain, and experience to benefit others who are suffering with meth and  sex addiction as he was.

He is clearly aware that during his active sex and drug addiction he was not a model member of society. He did not practice the morals and values he once stood by before his sex, drug, and alcohol addictions were out of  control. 

He paid the hefty price of 5 years behind bars, lifetime sex offender registry, the loss of his precious mother one year before his release, and faced severe hardships during his time incarcerated. 

He admits those years behind bars were the "most horrific, painful, grueling, and sad time" he had ever imagined possible.

Rob Lopicola is a man who truly knows the value of second chances and how one choice can impact you for the rest of your life. Once a well-known local weatherman, Rob fell from grace when he succumbed to sex addiction, alcoholism, and methamphetamine addiction.

Rob became unrecognizable to everyone who knew him as his meth and sex addiction slowly took over his life. Unfortunately, in this dark time, he fell even harder into the vices of his addictions. Rob began to rely heavily on alcohol, methamphetamine, and sex to make it through his day - to the point that he began to compulsively look for sexual partners online. 

His nude pictures from his private chats were leaked to his boss, and Rob subsequently had to resign from his position at WPTV. The public had a field day speculating what had happened. Rumors from the haters flourished. WPTV and Rob agreed to keep it quiet for the sake of Rob possibly returning to television in the future.

At this point, everything began to go downhill for him, and Rob had started to rely on online dating and hook up profiles to feed his sex addiction. Unfortunately, he could not have had worse luck as some of the profiles had been created by individuals lying about their ages.

Rob went from being on the cover of fitness magazines and in the front lines during hurricanes Frances, Jeanne, and Wilma,  to living on the streets, homeless, hungry, and deeply meth and sex addicted. 

During this period, he responded to a craigslist ad of an 18-year-old and later on a 19-year-old for cybersex. both within a 6 month period from October 2010 to April 2011. Later, it was discovered that the individuals from the ads lied to him about their ages. 

The media twisted the facts.

In 2012, Rob was arrested, detained, and later given prison time for the charges of "attempted battery of a child" and others. 

Rob had to serve 60 months of prison time for his actions when engaging with his online profiles. During this time, the news sites did not factually report on his activities and instead further vilified him to the public, tarnishing what was left of his good name. 

The police later verified that he had not been lying and that Rob was not aware of the actual ages of the individuals he was talking to. Of course, these facts were not shared in the media.

After serving a very lenient prison sentence, Rob appealed to the courts for a second chance at life and was given that opportunity. Rob was fortunate, and the judge gave him a very merciful prison sentence and he planned to keep his head down and carry out his sentence. He spent his entire prison sentence bound by his experiences and looking for a way to change his life.

His mentor Tony guided him through one of the worst experiences of his life and then helped Rob stay strong in the wake of his mother's death. Finally, after 60 months in prison, Rob Lopicola was released from prison and back into the arms of his loving family and friends.

His second chance at life came with a total transformation with how he lived. He began to live his life focused on his mental, physical and spiritual well-being. Rob began to take the steps he had learned in recovery and the spiritual guidance from his mentor to turn his life around.

Rob understood that his mental and spiritual condition needed to match his physical condition. As a result, he developed coping skills to help him in his daily life and realized that he could help others who were struggling too!

Rob stood by the theory that physical transformation has to go hand in hand with the change and transformation of a person's mental and spiritual well-being.

Rob began to notice how people around him were struggling and how these people could also benefit from the lessons he had learned. He knew what it was like to hit rock bottom and just how hard it could be to get up without a guiding hand. 

Without his mentor and his support system, Rob would not have been able to change his life. So, instead of sitting on the sidelines, Rob wanted to be the catalyst for change in other people's lives and began the journey of developing a program that truly works for all.
